Linda's 74 Pound
Journey

I have
had a weight problem my entire life. I have always wanted that
perfect 36-24-36 body that all the other girls had. Fight that battle
of the bulge is not easy, especially when you’re young. Everyone is
being so overly concerned with fitting in that it makes it even harder
to attain that goal of the perfect body.Shedding
those excess pounds is not easy and never will be. Don’t believe those
infomercials you see on TV that say easy weight loss and no exercise.
If they were true there would be no fat people in the world. Losing
your desired weight is one thing, but keeping it off is a totally
different story. It will probably be the most difficult thing you will
do, but in the long run it will be worth it. I know
up until now
I’ve probably made losing those excess pounds too hard, but after you
start a routine of exercising and healthy eating it’s like second
nature and becomes a habit forming lifestyle.
The
best and most
reliable method of losing weight I have found is to hire a personal
trainer. He helped and taught me an effective way of exercising and
diet. It really wasn’t a diet program. That’s what worked for me. A
personal trainer can also help keep you motivated because motivation is
one of the key factors in losing weight and keeping it off. I noticed
that when I’m at the gym, just being around fit and healthy people,
encourages me to exercise longer and harder. The fact
that I lost
such an excessive amount of weight gave me the idea of becoming a
personal trainer. I know that by helping others to accomplish their
goals would make me feel good that I could help others get fit and
healthy by passing on what I have learned. My next
goal is to
tone up my body so I can look the part of a personal trainer. I feel
that no one will take you seriously if you don’t show an interest to
keep yourself fit. Remember it’s all about you feeling good about you
because you are the most important person in the world. Stay strong and
you’ll reach your goals.
