Detox Your Body For Better Health

Detox Your Body? Why should I detox my body and does that exactly mean? These are the questions some of you may be asking yourself. Before I go into all that let me answer that with another question.

Where Do Those Toxic Chemicals Go?

Where do think all the chemicals that the factories pump into the air go? What about all the chemicals that you put on your grass to make it green and weed free where do all those chemicals go? And finally, what about all the chemicals that are sprayed on the food to keep the bugs from eating them, where do they go?

Did I make you wonder where they all go? Well, let me tell you they don’t just magically disappear. The earth itself will clean a small portion of those, but the majority of them will be going into the food and water supply and let’s not forget the air you breathe.

Detox is really short for detoxification. This is one of the bodies normal processes for eliminating and neutralizing toxins, which is anything that can harm the body. Your body breaks them down into less harmful compounds and eliminated through the stool or urine.


Help Out Your Body With a Detox Diet

You might be saying by now that you don’t need to do a detox diet because your body has a natural detox system. You might be right if all it had to do was to detox the toxins produced by your own body during it’s normal functions, but today it has to work a lot harder because of all the man made chemicals being dumped into the environment.

A detox diet is a short term diet designed to help your body get rid of toxins at a faster pace. When you detox your body you may get some detox symptoms like headache, excessive diarrhea, tiredness, irritability, acne, weight loss, and hunger. It seems like a long list like you might find on a drug insert, but it’s because you are forcing all those toxin out faster than your body would normally do it and that’s why it happens.

It’s usually a good sign when you get one of these symptoms because it means your getting all those toxins out of your body. When and if you get some of these symptoms just remember it’s a short term diet and it will pass.

There are many natural detox programs out there so always consult your natural health practitioner to find the one that’s right for you.
